Until the 19th century, grapefruit was grown purely as an ornamental fruit. Rarely eaten, it was known only for its looks - an interesting harbinger of its modern-day promise to improve ours.

A 2005 study by the Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation, in Chicago, showed that the scent of grapefruit on women made them seem an average of six years younger to men. Grapefruit's main use in skin care, however, is as a citric acid. Like any alpha hydroxy acid, citric acid loosens the bonds between skin cells, allowing dead ones to fall away, revealing smoother, more radiant skin.

We'll today is Professional Assistant's Day. This morning I ran to the Flower Shop to pick up my orders for my Staff here at work. A variety of plants and flowers, as I had to be sure that each person got something befitting their personal likes and dislikes.


Didn't have a problem with a decision until I came to "my mother", who works for me. I wanted to get her "roses" as now that I have her in another office (and they would not bother my allergies) I had to make the decision on which rose arrangement to get. Then I had "4" simular ones lined up. . . finally made my decision. Took it to the office to give to Mom. . . she was excited first because they were "roses" , was quick to add that she loved the vase. Then Mom proceeded to share a story with me that in my 50+ years of knowing, living and working with this woman was the very first time that I heard it.



Mom started off "did you know that when I was a little girl, snap dragon's were my favorite flower". I confirmed that I did not know that, then she went onto say, that she didn't remember it either, but that Grandma had reminded her of it over and over again that last couple years that she was with us. I told her that Grandma must have been watching over me, and telling me to get the snap dragons because this was the only one of the 4 I was considering with the snap dragons.


I could not believe the smile on my mom's face when I told her that. Then reality set in, how am I going to top that for Mother's Day! Then my sister reminded me of the stories of my mom going to pick black raspberry's with Grandpa when she was a little girl. . . . .

Just last weekend I was at one of the local colleges for a Health fair. I took the normal products that sell well at the Health Fairs. . . things like our Shea Butter, Unscented Products, Lavender products. I was looking forward to see how our Jordan Dead Sea Bath Salts went over. I also throw in some of our Glycerin Soaps as there is always one or two people who are interested, expecially now that we have several more to choose from.

Me too!!! I am a die hard JE shower gel girl (I usually have at least 2 large shower gels at all times in the shower), but ever since this soap came in the new products kit I have been using it and it is soooooo wonderful. I am not about to trade in my shower gels for it, but think it is an amazing soap that really smoothes and cleans the skin. ~Diane ~

Well, I'm a shower gel person, don't use bar soaps, so the next best thing for me to trying the products is testing it on Hubby . . . . .well I had to wait until he got done with the bar of soap that was in use before he could open this on up. Well this morning was the lucky morning for that "NEW STUFF"! Well to say the very least he was impressed and informed me that it was the "BEST STUFF", and that I need to be sure to keep some extra in the closet.
