Activated Charcoal? It's not what you think!

Time for Ingredient Spotlight Sunday! Today we highlight the wonderful ingredient, "Activated Charcoal". Activated Charcoal is created by super-heating carbon-rich materials such as wood, peat, or coconut shells. JE uses coconut charcoal. Not to be confused with charcoal used for grilling, Activated Charcoal is super-absorbent, detoxifying, purifying, and offers many benefits to the body and skin.
