This is a combination Harvey - Christmas Jordan Essentials Sharing.
There is not a person in the United States that has not heard about Harvey and the devastation that took place all around the Gulf Coast. Jordan Essentials stepped up to the plate and sent 6 boxes of Jordan Essentials Products to be donated to families in need.
The outpouring for support has been amazing, and I did not want to get our donations loss in the midst of the Houston Food Bank who was receiving massive collections and distributing to the various rescue centers. The American Red Cross is a story unto itself.
I have to say that it is times like this when I am so proud of the time I've been with Jordan Essentials -- they have such a giving heart.
So I reached out to some of my networking friends, one Melissa DeFlora was reaching out to the families of League City, Dickenson, Friendswood (all suburbs of Houston) more than 7,000 homes were lost in this area alone. Everyone knew that this would not be an easy recovery, and very few would be back in their homes by Christmas.
Melissa was spear heading sponsors for family Christmas Gifts, crock pots and more. She was giving endlessly of her time. Like most parents the focus would be making sure something was under the Christmas trees for the kids. We made the Executive decision to hold onto the Jordan Essentials bags to give to those that were still living in Tents, FEMA trailers and a few in hotels who would have no place to have Christmas Morning. The Jordan Essentials Gift Bags went to every Mother who attended as a GIFT!
